While Magnus was roaming the ice-lands of his home planet, a strange portal appeared.  The portal froze everything around it, except for Magnus, leaving him surrounded by ice. He had no choice but to go through the portal.  As soon as he put his hand in, it pulled him through and closed behind him.  Now he is trapped in the Jolly-Verse.
