When she found Anubis, it seemed as he was waiting for her arrival.  He asked her what she wanted, thinking she would ask him to lift the curse from Jolly. But he was surprised when she asked to gain immortality herself.  Anubis had other plans; Mrs Jolly was the key to his plans. And he wasn’t going to let her go so easily.
